It is available nowhere else that I can find. The Mc-carr part has threaded male ends, so it would require a flat eyelet to be welded on or bolted on somehow. I can visualize how a deep nut with a flat tab could be fabricated, then reused, but why go to this trouble? How have you veterans adapted this strut? Also, does anyone have a simple solution to getting the nut tightened up in the wheelwell where only one hand can reach? Would a clevis pin with a spring clip be better?
