One of the IMC modules went bad so I replaced both. When the company sent me the new IMCs, they also sent what they call a "divide-by-4 (/4)" for each side of this installation. In my original installation I had no /4 but, per the EI tech support folks, I installed them. I'm having issues with the calibration of these new IMCs and I'm wondering if anybody else on the list has had this issue. I won't bore everybody with the details but if you have these little jewels in your aircraft and you went through the calibration of them, I'd appreciate your input on this. Please contact me offline so we can discuss it. When we're finished we can provide input back to the list for posterity. Thanks. By the way, EI tech support is quite good with one exception, their hours. They work M-F, 8-4:30 Pacific time and I can only work on this on weekends. So, I talk to them during the week and then try to do what they tell me on Saturday. If I have more issues, then I have to wait until Monday to talk to them again and then the following weekend to do what they tell me. This makes for a lot of down time.
