If it wouldn't update I would buy a new smart media card off of eBay and everything would seem to work. The last time I updated using the same card that I have been using for quite some time without any glitches, it took 3 tries/reboots on each screen to take(in the past I would given up and buy a new card but this time I kept trying). The first 2 times the Cheltons just booted up as though there was no smart media card in place though I'm sure it was put in properly. Any ideas/suggestions. Just a bit concerned that someday in the not so distant future our wonderful Cheltons may be truly obsolete due to inability to update the data.
