You may have more success selling the kit at a lower price without the
options. If you find that is the case then I'd be a buyer for options like
the canopy seal and fuel probes that do not come with the basic kit. I
bought Legacy kit #201 in 2008 from a builder in Pennsylvania and rented a
truck to drive it back to Austin. Kits at that time had just gone up from
$35K to $69K. Of course the kits have continued to increase and you get less
in them.

The builder sold me his kit for what he paid and through in his 2 years of
building labor for nothing. As it turned out I had to inspect all of his
work and redo some, so the value of his labor was of little benefit. 

If you find someone who is planning to buy a new kit, I think you could ask
close to the new kit price since your work was done with Factory
supervision. You also have the benefit of immediate availability.

I have a Legacy RG Kit that has very little work done to it except for the
normal two week builder assist work.  It is Kit #255, located in Virginia.

I have rarely seen a kit for sale so I don't know what a fair selling price
for the kit and components would be.  No engine and I have a short list of
standard options which I could include or not depending on buyer
negotiations.  Some options include fuel selector valve, fuel probes,
hydraulicc power pk, hose kit #49413, adj pedals, speed breaks, inflatable
seal.

I am located in Virginia so it might be a good purchase for someone on the
east coast.
