I have a IV/IV-P cowl with a TSIO-550 on a Lancair ES. My baffling part nu= mber was for a IV/IV-P. I just didn't install the 3rd intercooler baffle p= late. My engine runs almost too cold in the winter. I have talked to at least 2 = others (IV and ES) who have this same installation and their engines also r= un cold. CHT's are also very close (+/- 15 dF in cruise). Two things to check. 1. With the cowling on, use a bore scope to check you silicone baffli= ng/cowling interface. 2. Find any hole(even something that looks ridiculously small) and pl= ug it.
