Subject: [LML] Re: IV-P baggage key
Do you suppose that Lancair used the same key on all their locks? I have no idea, but I happen to have my ES key in my pocket. It is an "ACE" key made by Chicago Lock Co., code number L 1517. Can you find a code number someplace on the lock? I hve no idea. That reminds me - I should put this info in my master parts list and scrouge around to see if I have a spare someplace. Gary Casey
Dr Katz, These keys are not all alike. I have 3-4 different ones you could try if you want me to send them, but it’s a crap shoot as to whether any of mine would work in your lock… Please send a mailing address if you want me to do this. Bob Pastusek
