That sounds like a good way to finish the baggage compartment as well. I
wonder why Lancair doesn't sell them? I guess other builders either
fabricate their own Longeron closeouts or fill in the depressions with
something. If you have pictures showing how you did it that would be
helpful. I am wiring the airplane now but I don't want to bond something
that needs to be hung.

What are you going to do for the back? I found that a second pair trimmed
down and modified for my static source tubing worked well.
Made some backets to hang them on and my carpet comes up to just under them
and headliner goes from the top. I'm still finishing up on the interior,
but I think it will look OK.
