I did basically the same thing. I tapped a piece of steel and floxed it in
place on the spar of the stub wing. A threaded metal cup screws into the
steel and is used as the jack point.

if you remove the wings.

For those Legacy pilots on the list...do you have any provisions to
accommodate jacking your airplane in the event of a flat tire while at an
airport other than your home base? If so, what are those provisions?
I had a flat on my main co-pilot side today and did not have anything with
me to address the situation. I was at a very friendly airport in Mobile,
Alabama ((KBFM) and they (Southern Avionics) took care of everything in a
matter of a few minutes, but if I would have been elsewhere...
