Just out of the GLO Custom paint shop in Roanoke, TX. $8K for a very thorough 3-color job: removing all the surfaces and canopy, degreasing, pit filling, priming, painting, reassembly. They do mostly RVs. They took 3 1/2 weeks. The rough work that I did feathering in the root of the horizontal stab into the fuselage... just disappeared in a smooth glossy coat. Cool. For the inspiration, Google / Images / F-86 Sabre. The horizontals have yellow bars too, you can barely see in these pix. I'm hoping this paint scheme edges it a bit closer to Mach 1.
