In response to Ian Crowe's request for more info, the following was sent to
me by Bill Rumburg.  It sounds like a good idea to me...

Use thin cardboard to make a template of the required shape or just make a
good, dimensioned sketch. Then, find a good sheet metal shop that can weld
aluminum. By telling them about your project, they will almost certainly
take an interest. Have the funnels fabricated from .100 aluminum and seam
welded. Then, you can have them powder coated in a nice color locally.
