No intention of inflicting any pain or suffering on your nostalgia node. I
didn't start flying until '89 (after ordering std. 320 kit).  I only know
high wing/low wing,  engine in the front or back or both. Now my mission is
speed, safety, efficiency and fun below 18000 ft for two or less.  I've not
flown the 'best' yet, but Lancair comes the closest to my mental image.
