Installing the hydraulics in an LNC2.
Good I checked clearances for the wheel and tire before commiting to hoses
and mounting of the hydraulic fittings in the stub wing/fuselage closeout
rib. The tire and the hydraulic fittings coming through the closeout rib want
to occupy the same space. And the tire is seriously close (1/4") to the
bottom skin/back side of the spar in the retracted condition.
Is this condition common? I can certainly change the fittings to a 45 degree
from the "T" in the wheel well for the high pressure side and put a "T" on
the outside fitting of the cylinder rather than an elbow. Is this a
reasonable fix?
Jim
