Exceptional Situations: 1) Oil pressure is not getting to the governor and then to the prop. 2) You have enough horsepower to break the prop (with your plane at = least 300 HP). 3) You have enough speed to go past the fixed prop stops (over 300 kts). In all honesty, I haven't done the exact calculations on the above speed = and HP.
