Greetings,

The Dayton, Nevada Lancair Fly In is about a month away!

What:  Lancair Fly In

Where:  Dayton Valley Airpark (A34), east of Carson City and South of Reno.

When:  Saturday, May 12, 2012.  Arrive in the morning and leave in the afternoon.  We'll provide lunch for $5.00 per person.  Join us and spend a day hanging out with other Lancerians looking at and talking about airplanes.

Dayton Valley Airpark (A34) has a single runway that is 5,343 feet long.  Be sure to check density altitude because field elevation is 4,400' MSL.  The airport has no lights and is restricted to daylight
VFR operations.

Dayton Valley Airpark has a restaurant and golf course within walking distance but no nearby rental cars or overnight accommodations.  Carson City and Reno are larger airports in the area that have more support facilities and are a short flight from Dayton Valley Airpark.  If you want to stay in the area longer and explore the many fun and interesting tourist attractions, spend the day at Dayton and in the afternoon fly to a nearby larger airport with more facilities.

Hope to see you there!

Dennis Johnson
