I have just over 1100TT on my factory new TSIO 550B- two cylinders hovering at 60 and the rest in the mid 60s.  Just put 12 hours on it last week (LOP 16.5 GPH 28 inch by 2370RPM) and burned barely a quart and it runs smoother and smoother year by year. Most flying FL190-230.  Hoping to get another couple hundred before topping it.

Has anyone run a Continental TSIO-550 (any model) for 1000 hours in a Lancair IV-P without a top overhaul? Has anyone run an original engine to 2000 hours in an IV-P?
