Hi Art,
I guess I should have been more specific. I'm now using the Tempest
fine-wire iridium plugs. They're half the price of their Champions
counterparts. The Tempest sports newer technology and are reputed to last
at least twice as long as the Champs. I do know they don't foul like the
standard plugs did and am very satisfied with the switch.

Pete,
Are you saying that because they are half the price
you are using them? According to the price listed on Aircraft Spruce
there is about a $4.00 difference. I am comparing Champion massive
against Tempest massive. What I don't know is if they perform, so I
would like to hear about good and bad experiences with
them.

Half the price of Champions. Why would you not use
them? Pete Cavitt - N329PL

All,
Would like to hear from everyone using the
tempest spark plugs. Are you satisfied with them? Do you think
they are better than Champion, and why? Are you using the
massive or fine wire? Help me make an informed
decision.
I am getting ready to order a new set of plugs.
I currently use the RHB32E by Champion in my IO-550-N. I have no
complaints with these plugs but wonder if the Tempest with their
one piece resistor design is better as their ad would suggest.
Thank you for your input
