John,
Sounds like your experience is in line with claims made in the ad for the Tempest plugs. Why did you choose fine wire as opposed to the massive plugs?
Thanks for your input

Art -we have an IO-550N in our ES. At about 425 hours on the engine, we replaced the original massive plugs with the Tempest Fine Wire plugs during our annual. They work as advertised - better starting at all temps and a little smoother running engine. We will be doing our annual next month and will be able to see if they show any signs of wear.
Hope this helps,

All,
Would like to hear from everyone using the tempest spark plugs. Are you
satisfied with them? Do you think they are better than Champion, and why? Are you using the massive or fine wire? Help me make an informed decision.
I am getting ready to order a new set of plugs. I currently use the RHB32E by Champion in my IO-550-N. I have no complaints with these plugs but wonder if the Tempest with their one piece resistor design is better as their ad would suggest.
Thank you for your input
