Do not assume a tire of the same size but a different brand or model will have the same dimensions as your previous tire when inflated.  I checked 5 different tires of the same size uninflated standing side by side.   The tire with the smallest diameter uninflated had the largest diameter when inflated.  Moral: measure the old tire while inflated and compare it with a different tire (inflated) before you do the gear swing on jacks and your nose gear won't stick in the well like a friend's did.
