What is a trittle charger?

 

I use the Battery Tender on my Odyssey 680.  The first battery was in the plane for 9 years.  It was still going strong when I took it out just because I got nervous with the age of it.  The plane is now almost 13 years old with the second Odyssey 680 now 4 years old.

Has anyone ever tried a trittle charger?  I have been using one on my Glasair for years and no problem with my battery
