Funny thing,

I've been working with Jon for several years on electrical and just found
out yesterday he does this.  Am talking with him now.

The balloon idea sounds good also but what happens to the instruments when
you actually put pressure in the system rather than vacuum?

Thanks
John

Very simple.  Put a balloon over the pitot tube and look for leaks
with a stethoscope or soapy water.  You can also just go ask Jon
Hadlich to take a look.
