Bleed it from the bottom.  Use a small squirt type oil can with a hose on it that fits tightly on the bleeder fitting.  Open the fitting and pump the fluid in from the bottom.  The air likes moving upwards a lot better than down.  Make sure you pull the reservoir cap and monitor the level so it doesn't overflow.

Subject: brake caliper

Does anyone know the best way to bleed the brakes? I replaced the "O" rings in the brake caliper because I had a slow drip. I was careful to remove the line
from the caliper and then capped off the line while I had the caliper off. I installed the caliper after replacing the "O" rings and then screwed on the flexible line and had someone
inside apply pressure to the brake (like in a car) and loosened the bottom bleeder valve until fluid ran out. brake is still spongy . Any help on this
would be great. Brad- LIV
