Also, I removed the wings and made a simple rotisserie which made it much ea= sier to paint the wings, also the body. Don't forget to rebalance the rudder, ailerons, and elevators after you pain= t. The weight of the paint is appreciable. I bonded all the surfaces on my IV and added static wicks. Not sure it's ne= eded on the 2. Maybe someone else will advise here. Anyway, sounds like you covered most of the bases. Be careful of the paint a= s it is nasty stuff.
