It may depend on where you fly.

hi
all,
since installing an overdue software update to my cheltons
as well as sending out 1 screen to be "overhauled" by cobham (both of which
may be totally incidental), my cheltons lose gps signal intermittently usually
about 10-15 minutes into the flight then about half an hour later regain the
gps signal though there doesn't seem to be a lot of rhyme or reason behind
when/where the signal is lost or reappears. the ahrs works fine and it
tries to calculate where i am on the moving map but not accurately
enough.
i have tried calling cobham tech support but have been
unable to get my calls returned which is unusual as in the past they have been
responsive.
any great ideas on where to troubleshoot or has anyone else
had this issue before? is it the
antennae/receiver?
thanks,
david
