The airplane is not flying yet, but we have been doing lots of ground runs and I am having apparently the same issue. On start up the GPS will lock usually, but it will lose the lock after a few minutes of run time - again usually - I have seen it come back a time or two after that. I have not run it for more than about 15 minutes at a time. Have tried cycling the EFIS GPS and will get "acquitting gps" message on the screen but rarely has the signal come back in the time frame we've been running. Once or twice we've regained it. Obviously, I am just as interested as you in how to solve the problem. Don't know about the update. Can you tell me when that software update came out?
