This was a couple of years ago when my starter adapter started slipping on the trip to Alaska. About 8 hours before it failed, we had installed a SkyTec starter. I replaced the adapter in Olympia, WA wi/ a refurb unit. As soon as I could find one of the old model starters (Anchorage), I replaced the SkyTec.
