I helped Dave solve an overheating problem by increasing the intakes of his cowling. He asked me how long it would take to cut out the holes. "Twenty minutes," I said. He then asked how long for him to do it? "Three hours", I replied. The he asked, "what is the difference"? I replied, "It's not my plane." We flew a lot of flights with our two lancairs in 2000 before 9/11 in the Salt Lake area. We also made a video flying over lake Powell and surrounding area with Manheim Steamroller as background music. A great review of my flying days in Utah.
