I would talk to Brian Carpenter at Rainbow Aviation.  I took the three week
Light Sport Repairman class from him and have a great regard for both his
technical expertise and his honesty.  He's at an airport only an hour or so
away from Redding, so I'm certain he'll have an opinion.
