Paint on aluminum panels. First off what is the cost of laminating panels with carbon fiber? How will it hold up with vibration, hot and cold temperature changes? Will the panel splitter on impact? How will it hold up against sun light? Have you ever seen a carbon fiber hood on a car after a few years in the elements? They look like crap ! Paint alleviates all these unknown questions.
