I just wanted to follow up on this old note of mine. I had an inspection done by a local shop in May 2011 and therefore did not think the plugs would be a high probability item. I've had hard starting and idle problems all summer. When a plug stopped firing yesterday I pulled all of them and the gaps were set to something less than 0.010 on 10/12 plugs. There were some balls of (lead?) deep into some of the plugs, whitish deposits on the insides and some of the gaps were shorted of course. These are massives, RHB32E on the IO-550N. These plugs had about 70 hours since the "condition inspection". I forgot to check the resistance that one owner wrote about but I did test them under pressure and all fired properly after cleaning.
As suggested here, I did not go after the injectors.

I am getting some small vibration at LOP now and one or two cylinders are getting colder than the others leaning. I would like to hear from people with experience on how they cleaned, what materials or ultrasonic cleaner was used and whether they replace the o-rings and where to get them.
