I have only one recommendation/answer to your several questions, but still worth passing along…
Fit the wings.
Specifically, the aileron operating tubes need to be very precisely aligned with the wing cutouts so they will not bind, and will provide the required travel. Use a long piece of tubing to replicate the pushrods themselves, pack with foam or similar around the wing rib holes to keep the rod in the middle of the hole. Then mount the wings…only need do one at a time, but be sure it’s in the correct position fore and aft, slide the tubing into the fuselage and mark the point. Make your hole and add the pressure sealing rings there…
I had no problem with mine, but have seen two builders that “guessed” at the location and wound up patching the fuselage…rather large patches in fact.
BTW, if your fuselage is firmly attached to the floor/not moving, locate the outboard end of the pushrod with a plumb bob (and tape measure to set the height). Once the wings are back off, use the pushrod, or another tube, set in the proper location from your measurements, to reposition the pushrod in the fuselage hole. Use this to keep your pressure sealing rings parallel to the pushrod when you bond them to the fuselage.
