Today I removed every line on my engine (Co= ntinental IO520) that carries fuel. Everything on the engine side from the o= utput side of the gascolator (sp?) through to the spider injector unit has b= een removed and will be shipped to a company that specializes in making up f= uel lines. I believe the lines removed today are the original ones put on s= ome 14 years ago. I have no idea if the fuel lines are the culprit but I hav= e looked hard at everything else I can think of and still no remedy.=20 With regard to your message today...I have heard of the altitude compensated= devise but like you, am not at all familiar with it. I have copied the list on this response. Perhaps someone following this thr= ead will jump in and make some much needed suggestions.
