One of our= stops was at a small airshow by a local EAA chapter in Argentina. We vis= ited many of the project hangars but one really caught my eye. A fellow= was building a Lancair out of wood. He was doing an amazing job with the= compound curves, etc. It reminded me of the beautiful lines of the 1934= deHavilland Comet replica (wood) I flew for a number of years. His bird= was beginning to look very much like a success. Always wondered how it= worked out.
