It seems that there will now be a fast-build door option; for the ES and IV it will have the IV-style system for latching, with two hooks at the bottom. For the IV-P, it will have the eight-hook, two-handle system. What I was told was that all that would need to be done to mount the door would be to do some fitting and trimming around the opening, then fit it in place from the inside. Done. Pricing, I was told, would be about $2500 extra for the ES and IV, $3500 extra for the IV-P. Unfortunately, since almost no parts can be re-cycled, the cost for retrofit (i.e., for kits already delivered) will be about $5800 for the ES and IV! Ouch. Still, I figure it took me about one month full time to build the ES door, and it's probably double that for the IV-P. What's our time worth? Interestingly, I had already decided to toss the two-pin latch that comes with the ES and use the IV-style double hook latch at the bottom. Apparently the factory guys agree, since that's the way all the new ones will be. Now, if they've fixed the angle of the frames so that the door seal doesn't push the door outwards, we'll be in bidness, as we say down here.
