I also have the Andair valve but without the extension. It is available in
both versions. My solution was to locate the valve in the console itself and
bring the fuel piping upto it. I actually built a sub base for the valve
which is attached to two 3/4" angles on either side of the console. The
actual top of the console is removeable and allows you access to the
undersideof the the valve. If you have an air compressor run a pressure
test on the connections before you button it all up. You can weave the
pipework around the elevator push rod without too much trouble.
I do not have the header tank so my overall layout is much simpler and there
is no plastic hose. It is all 3/8" piping.
