I purchased the Andair EFS 20x2 selector from Lancair (beautiful workmanship). This has the selector handle that mounts in the center console and then a torque tube (approx. 6" long) running down to the valve itself which is mounted to the floor. I want to place this selector in the center console near the instrument panel. However, the elevator pushrod runs the full length of the console, right down the center. This is where the torque tube wants to be! Have any of you run into this problem? What did you do to solve it? Two small U-joints would probably solve this, but where to buy such a thing?
