I received the following e-mail for a good Lancair owner friend:

< However, I have heard of two LNC2 pilots who have not been able to
pull the stick back on landing because the seat pan slipped out of the lip and
moved forward.  Not good!  I've got it on my checklist, but it might be better
to put a screw in.>>

So, you may want to do something to ensure that the seat pan stays in place.

I will re-visit my installation as well...
