Friday Harbor is a delightful place to fly into. You are within easy
walking distance of town, restaurants,hotels, etc. We suggest going to the
bus stop in town and buying a round trip of the island. You can get off at
various stops and wander, then get on the next bus and continue on, etc.
and etc. We particularly enjoyed stopping off at Roche Harbor for dinner
and watching fireworks ( it was July 4) and then catching the bus back to
Friday Harbor. Anyway, try it, you'll like it. Good idea to phone ahead for
reservations, etc.
