I installed the Lancair remote baggage door release in my ES, eliminating the hardware on the outside of the door. The release button is in the cabin door sill, and can't be accessed when the cabin door is closed.

 Hey Guys, I'm looking for a  locking device for the baggage compartment
 door, that locks from the inside  release rather than a key and lock.  I'm at
 the point where the LIV is  being prepared for painting and want to install
 the locking device before we go  any farther. It looks cleaner and safer than
 the lock showing.  Thanks,
