I have had to replace the MP sensor under the cowl twice for my VM1000 over the years when the MP reading became sluggish or inaccurate. Perhaps something similar here?

I do have this multi indication display in a Lancair 360,

 

where the manifold pressure indication is flipping:

-engine off state from zero to full

-engine on state in flight betweeen about 16-to 30

 

all other indicators work precisely

 

I have already checked with companies the support

the measurements of voltage coming from the sensor did not show a clear clue

and a change in costly sensor is an option if the trouble can be fixed to that.

 

Has someone of you got some trouble expereince in that field?
