You're a freaking pilot - you're supposed to know all things pertaining to a flight or purchase.  They did not screw you as they have been doing this service for years.  Their bound WAC is priceless.

PS Their 50% discount based on your 1/2 year usage sounds pretty nice of them.

 

 

If any of you are currently using the charts published by this company
(http://www.airchart.com/), BEWARE!  They will try to screw you out of your
money as they did with me.  I purchased a one-year subscription for $470 in
October 2010 thinking it would be good for a year.  As it turns out, they
renew their subscriptions in May so they have now told me that even though I
paid for a full year, my subscription expires in May.  However, if I renew,
I can get a 50% discount on my renewal (whopty-doo!).  I don't know about
all of you but it kind of feels like a bait and switch to me.  At this point
I've decided to go with the ForeFlight (http://www.foreflight.com/) system
on my iPad.  It's always current, it's digital, I can download only what I
need or the entire database, it's $75/year and it's fantastic!
