Seems to me that you exhibited just that during your ordeal. When events such as your experience happens, it kinda gives pilots like me a reality check, that even though these airplanes are such fun machines, they are not toys and can (and do) cause serious injuries, possibly death, if one does not fly safe, does not take time to practice emergency procedures and sharpen their piloting skills.
