By having it 6 degrees above horizontal, it will change the range of angles that it can detect. As others have suggested, Dynon can probably give you more specifics on the operating range of the probe. They probably can't advise you on what AOA you need to be able to measure for your Legacy. I would tilt the probe to the correct attitude, but leave it in the convenient location. Then try it and see. Make sure that after following the calibration procedure, the results are accurate and repeatable. I cannot recommend flying a Legacy all the way into a stall, but IF you do, make sure to fly those test flights with the CG in the forward range, and the necessary skills for spin recovery. -bob
