He posted those pix yesterday [I think].  It looks like a very straight forward approach.  I like it!  Do you have a parts list you can send me?  I think the jack stands and hydraulic jacks are probably available at any auto parts store.  Where do you get the machine feet and how is the set up modified and put together?

Ask Lorn Olsen for a picture of the jacks I made up for him using standard car jack stands, bottle jacks and machine feet.

Luke,

At over $300 each, those seem pretty expensive.  I’m looking for ideas too because I just purchased a 360.  There’s an arrangement listed in the “Tools & Jacks” section of http://www.lancaironline.net/maillist.html that seems to be somewhat popular so I’m looking into having one made up by a machine/welding shop.  However, I expect this to be a little pricey too so I’m considering a way to cut the pieces to size myself and then bolting it together.  I’ve heard there are jacks available at Harbor Freight that will work too.  Short of spending a bunch of $$ on aircraft jacks, it seems most alternatives will require some level of additional fabrication.

Has anyone used these jacks from aircraft spruce.

I have a 360 and need 22" from the jack points to the floor, without having to put the plane up on blocks to get the jacks under it.  These jacks say they are 21" tall and might work.  It says they have a centering cap, but I don't know how it would work with my jackpoints.  They are pricy especially including shipping, so it's a bit of a gamble.  I am not a welder and finding a fabrication shop down here is pretty tough.  Any experience or advise would be great.
