Bryon,

I don't understand. I am cooled the same way that you are but it takes 15 minutes of taxying to get my oil temp up to 70°F. My gage does work because if I close my cooling air door (behind #3) the temp will go into the 200s in flight.

I am thinking that the cooler is really bad or the vernatherm has to be checked.

As far as head temps, I have no comment because you haven't mentions the explicate temperatures.
