If we order one or two qrt Hysol I pay $380 for special shipping. For normal
shipping the kit to Holland I pay $5200. Custom and normal tax for the kit
$34000. Special paperwork customs for every shipment aprox $120. A landing
with a C172 between $12 and $100. Fuel aprox $6 a gallon. Max flying hours
with an Experimental on a yearly basis 50!!!!. A November registration for
Experimental is not permitted. IFR flying is not permitted.
The RLD in Holland (FAA) is a kingdom and they don't like airplanes at all
and try to do everything to make it impossible to fly.
Leaving the country seems to be the only option (if you want to fly) and
that's what they want and of course closing the few airports we have.
You guys in the States are realy spoiled, be happy with your EAA and the
administration and don't talk about high shippingcost and taxes ever again.
