Hi David,

I put in the Lasar ignition in my 320 after looking at the Light Speed
and some other electronic ignition systems. The Light Speed is a very
good system and there are a lot of 'em flying around forward of very
satisfied pilots. What sold me on the Lasar, however, was the "double
redundant" feature. They work as electronic ignition systems with all of
the advantages thereof but if the electronics should fail, or if you
loose electricity for any reason they "revert" to normal mechanical
mags. By my way of thinking this gives you 4 ignition systems. Maybe its
overkill but it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling that helps to fill that
large empty space in my wallet.
