Mike - Apparantly quite a few builders and pilots have encountered this failure to retract (or extend) problem, both on the jackstand during building and while flying. If Lancair's suggestion to replace your low pressure switch corrects the problem, then both older and newer low and high pressure switches are failure candidates.
