You should have some re enforcing gussets to keep the balance weights rigid to the aileron. Also make sure the hinges are not loose at the hinge pins. They can wear over time. Prop balance is a must regardless of aileron shake. I flew the plane for 15min, and have been fixing problems ever since. I flew the plane today for the first time and I still have a shake on the ailerons in both cruz, & climb. I checked to insure the ailerons were counter balanced, and they were. Mags retimed, new fine wire plugs, new intake gaskets & hoses, compressions checked. I was wondering if this could be caused by an out of balanced prop? Any suggestions on were to go from here?
