Guy,
I saw the same issue early on.  We have a relatively small and light airframe for the size of the engine. Torque pulses from the engine translate to vertical forces and the wing tips.   The tolerances in MS hinges allows for measurable vertical movement.  Switching to SS welding rods eliminates the movement.  This configuration has held up well over the last ten years of use.  More details can be found here:

Subject: [LML] Aileron shake on a 360 !?

I was hoping someone might be able to help me on an aileron shake I have on my 360 (0-360 engine). I bought this plane from the west cost 11 months ago. I flew the plane for 15min, and have been fixing problems ever since. I flew the plane today for the first time and I still have a shake on the ailerons in both cruz, & climb. I checked to insure the ailerons were counter balanced, and they were. Mags retimed, new fine wire plugs, new intake gaskets & hoses, compressions checked. I was wondering if this could be caused by an out of balanced prop? Any suggestions on were to go from here?

Thanks,
Guy
