Yes, we started making a new sensor with 0.02" hole because that reason. But you can make a hole, and miss the sensor, if you drill a hole very close to the edge of that epoxy, on outside side. Here is a simple drawing of that hole. And if you want to order new one, not a problem too, you can get it directly from us.
